Founded in 1986 by Joël Etienne, Numalliance is the world leader in the design and manufacture of equipment for bending and forming metal tubes and wire.

Based in the Vosges region, the group employs nearly 400 people across 6 assembly sites in France and 9 subsidiaries abroad (United States, Mexico, China, Germany). Nearly 90% of its business is generated internationally.

RESPONSIBLE APPROACH

Eco-design is a strategic development priority for Numalliance. The group is moving its equipment towards more energy-efficient electric solutions and favours the use of hydrocarbon-free lubricants, thereby reducing its environmental footprint.

It has also developed a retrofit offering to extend the lifespan of its equipment.

PROJECT

InnovaFonds invested as a minority shareholder in connection with the reorganisation of the share capital.

InnovaFonds actively supports the group across three main areas:

• ORGANIC GROWTH : ddevelopment of a services offering, strengthening in targeted sectors and expansion into new regions

• OPERATIONAL STRENGTHENING : scaling up production capacity and structuring the organisation and the executive committee

• EXTERNAL GROWTH : active build-up strategy, with four acquisitions completed (France and United States) to broaden expertise, cover new geographies and offer more services to its customers
