TECHNICAL SAFETY PRODUCTS FOR THE GAS INDUSTRY

Clesse Industries, headquartered in Cournon d’Auvergne (Puy-de-Dôme), is one of the global leaders in the design, production and sale of safety equipment for the gas industry.

Its products (regulators, valves, fittings, safety accessories, etc.) are sold in France and internationally to specialised distributors, gas companies, installers and appliance manufacturers (OEMs). The Group has production sites in France, Poland (Weba, acquired in July 2025) and Brazil, as well as sales subsidiaries in the United Kingdom and Italy.

KEY STRENGTHS

The Group relies on three recognised brands (Clesse, Novacomet and Weba) and very strong international diversification (France, Italy, Brazil, Poland, United Kingdom, Middle East, United States, etc.).

Its very high level of technical expertise is recognised worldwide, as illustrated by the share of its revenue generated internationally (80%).

The integration of the Polish subsidiary Weba, acquired in July 2025, is under way, with significant synergies in terms of geographical coverage and product offering.

RESPONSIBLE APPROACH

The Group has developed a range tailored to the challenges of decarbonised gases (rDME, biogas, hydrogen, etc.). As a recognised leader in its sector, it also actively participates in various government bodies and standardisation committees working on “Bio & renewable LPG” issues in the gas industry.

In addition, the digital telemetry offering developed in-house enables an optimisation of energy resource consumption.

PROJECT

InnovaFonds acquired a stake in October 2022 as part of an LBO transaction alongside management.

InnovaFonds supports the Group’s growth strategy along two main lines:

• ORGANIC GROWTH : development of the service offering (technical support for key account customers, development of telemetry products, etc.), strengthening of international expansion

• EXTERNAL GROWTH : active build-up strategy (identification and analysis of opportunities), completion of the acquisition of Weba (Poland), which complements the offering and extends coverage to new geographical areas.
