PRAXY

COLLECTION, SORTING, RECYCLING AND RECOVERY OF MATERIALS

Founded in 2009, the Praxy Group (headquarters: Saint-Quentin-Fallavier, Isère) is a major national player in comprehensive waste management (collection, sorting, recycling, recovery). With 25 sites across France and more than 450 employees, the group offers tailor-made solutions, from collection to recovery, adapted to the specific needs of manufacturers, retailers, local authorities and producer responsibility organisations.

The group is a member of the Praxy Environnement et Services network, a grouping of more than 110 regional SMEs that processes over 4 billion tonnes of waste per year and employs around 2,500 people.

KEY STRENGTHS

Praxy combines the strength of a national network with local proximity, thanks to its multiple locations, in a market offering good consolidation prospects.

The market is driven by a favourable regulatory framework and protected by high barriers to entry (technical expertise, critical size, territorial coverage…).

The Group has doubled in size through the acquisition of the Cofibex group, completed in December 2024, and has since been successfully implementing the integration plan for this transformative combination.

RESPONSIBLE APPROACH

The group is rolling out an ambitious environmental plan to 2030 focused on reducing its carbon footprint. Initiatives under way include an investment in a unit converting non-recyclable waste into Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF).

This approach is led by a CSR Department created in 2024, membership of the Convention des Entreprises pour le Climat and several ISO environmental management certifications.

PROJECT

Innovafonds invested in Praxy in June 2025, as part of a transaction combining a partial capital reorganisation and the financing of an external growth strategy.

Innovafonds supports the Group along two main lines:

  • ORGANIC GROWTH: commercial development of the Group across France and ramp-up of the new SRF (Solid Recovered Fuel) unit
  • EXTERNAL GROWTH: continued successful integration of Cofibex, and identification, assessment and completion of new acquisitions.
