DESIGN AND MANUFACTURING OF WORKWEAR

The Molinel Robur group, formed through the combination of Robur (founded in 1922) and Molinel (founded in 1930), is a leading player in the workwear sector serving the hospitality and food service, construction, industrial and medical markets.

Operating mainly in France through a network of distributors and a key account customer base, the group is now accelerating its international development.

KEY STRENGTHS

Molinel Robur enjoys a leading position in a concentrated market with high barriers to entry. Its critical size enables it to respond to large-scale tenders and strengthen its presence with key accounts.

Its multi-site production base (Morocco, Tunisia, Madagascar), combined with efficient logistics, enables it to offer an agile and competitive range, combining responsiveness, product technicality and quality of service.

RESPONSIBLE APPROACH

The group has made its CSR approach one of the central pillars of its overall strategy. Its teams are developing a range that incorporates a growing share of recycled and bio-based materials. The approach is structured by a CSR department that carries out cross-functional work focused in particular on product life-cycle analysis and the search for sustainable and circular alternatives.

PROJECT

InnovaFonds invested in the group in 2022, as part of the combination of Molinel and Robur, in order to create a player of critical size in the workwear market.

InnovaFonds supports the group’s growth strategy across three main areas:

• ORGANIC GROWTH : accelerate international development, drawing in particular on the group’s ability to respond to large-scale tenders

• EXTERNAL GROWTH :identify opportunities in France and abroad in order to consolidate the group’s position and expand into complementary markets

• OPERATIONAL STRENGHTENING : continue deploying industrial and commercial synergies between Molinel and Robur.
