Milliris (formerly Hyd&Au Automation), based in Colombier-Saugnieu (Rhône), is a global turnkey systems integrator. The group designs, manufactures and installs industrial automation and electrification, mechanisation and robotics solutions, complemented by prototyping and welded fabrication activities.

The group employs more than 100 people and serves over 200 key accounts in water treatment, wines and spirits, the wood industry and industrial equipment manufacturing.

The group has significant growth potential in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, in a fragmented market offering build-up opportunities.

Its commercial momentum is positive and gives it good visibility over its business, with a growing order book.

RESPONSIBLE APPROACH

The Group plays a direct role in its clients’ environmental performance: the equipment it designs and integrates significantly reduces their energy consumption, while lowering the associated carbon footprint and improving operators’ working conditions. Milliris is also committed to a plan to reduce its own carbon emissions and has completed the Convention des Entreprises pour le Climat (CEC) programme.

PROJECT

Innovafonds invested in 2024 alongside the current management team, as part of a carve-out from the Hyd&Au group.

Innovafonds supports the group’s growth strategy along three main pillars:

• ORGANIC GROWTH: strengthening positions with existing accounts and winning new high-potential markets such as rail and defence

• OPERATIONAL STRENGTHENING: consolidation onto a single site, generating industrial and logistics synergies, structuring of support functions and strengthening of operational management
• EXTERNAL GROWTH: an active strategy, with more than thirty opportunities reviewed, including one completed acquisition (ISM) and several under discussion.
