MULTIDISCIPLINARY ENGINEERING CONSULTANCY

Founded in 1993, IngéNéo is a multidisciplinary technical engineering consultancy specialising in the rehabilitation and energy renovation of buildings.

The group works on rehabilitation, restructuring, new-build and demolition projects, through engineering and project management assignments. It operates in Lille, Paris and Aix-en-Provence through its brands Nortec, Positiv, Synchrone and Pollen.

KEY STRENGTHS

IngéNéo operates in a buoyant market, driven by energy renovation challenges and the changing regulatory framework. Its profitable business model and its positioning in a fragmented market provide a solid foundation for pursuing an external growth strategy. Its geographic expansion is already under way with the acquisitions of Synchrone and Pollen in 2025, strengthening its presence in the Île-de-France region.

The group also benefits from a strong order book, giving it high visibility over its future activity.

RESPONSIBLE APPROACH

The group contributes directly to the energy transition through its renovation and rehabilitation business, which accounts for nearly 80% of its revenue.

Its work helps to improve the energy performance of buildings over the long term, extend their lifespan and limit the carbon footprint associated with new construction, by promoting the transformation and enhancement of existing buildings.

PROJECT

Innovafonds acquired a stake in 2024 as part of an LBO, providing liquidity for the historical shareholders and organising the group’s management succession.

Innovafonds supports the group’s growth strategy along three main lines:

• ORGANIC GROWTH: continued development in the fast-growing energy renovation market

• OPERATIONAL STRENGTHENING: the Managing Director increasing his stake to initiate the management succession

• EXTERNAL GROWTH: active build-up strategy, with one acquisition completed and several targets under review, to create a leading national player.
