Founded in 2006 by Pierre Vinour and Étienne Cavallucci, CVA Group is a leading player in the subsurface natural resources industry, based in Bayonne (Pyrénées-Atlantiques, France).

With 225 employees, CVA offers an integrated range of services (consulting, technical engineering, training, project studies and management, Data & IT) in the fields of geosciences and process chemistry. The group supports more than 200 clients, in France and internationally, in the energy, environment, applied sciences and energy transition sectors.

PROJET

InnovaFonds acquired a stake in 2025 through a minority LBO alongside the founders, enabling them to achieve partial liquidity while facilitating equity participation by the group’s key managers.

InnovaFonds supports the group in pursuing its growth strategy along three main areas:

• ORGANIC GROWTH : sales reorganisation and strengthening of positions in energy transition markets
• OPERATIONAL STRENGHTENING : reorganisation of the management team and implementation of monitoring tools
• COST OPTIMISATION: streamlining of overhead costs
